I feel like SC's dont get much attention around here.

I've always had a slight soft spot for this SC. Very forward thinking design. And this particular example is downright awesome! The paint is perfect, the ride height is just right, and those wheels absolutely make the package. They're just perfect. I'd love a set of those on my car. I seriously love those wheels on this ride. I also love that it doesn't have any ridiculous body kits on it. Very clean, tasteful car.

100/10 would do

I'd argue there's at least one good SC430 out there:

In all seriousness, that really is awful. Or maybe you are being serious, in which case, carry on.

It's a bit soft, girly, and heavy, but I don't really understand all of the hate.

Lol nah I'm a big fan of the "stance" that the OP picture shows but the moment you have to use negative camber to fit under the wheel well I'm out.

I'm not even sure the OP pic qualifies as stance. IMO it's tastefully lowered for both aesthetics, and possibly handling. I'm sure the ride suffers a lot unless it was done properly with good adjustable coilovers, where the ride would only suffer some. As far as practicality is concerned, yeah it'll scrape sometimes and that sucks, but there are plenty of supercars that are lower. I don't like seeing zero gap in a wheel well unless it's just covered by some nice rolled fenders/fender flares. I certainly don't like seeing a wheel completely tucked under, especially not in the method you describe.

I prefer the JGTC cars, built because people realised that Toyota don't build Supras anymore.

Because SC was supposed to stand for Sports Car, and the SC430 was anything but.

The BMW M5 and M6 was supposed to mean lightweight athletic sports sedans, but you don't see that many people bitching about how they've turned into fat, sloppy handling animals (according to Motor Trend, anyhow). I will agree that the SC430 is indeed not a sports car and not what it should have been.

Love SCs soooo much. Get a manual 300, put a turbo on it, and you'll have one hell of a sleeper.

So does the SC300, so is it that much of a sin?

No, that just means it's a SC300.

We're disagreeing on labels (and I know that's pointless), but then is this a Corvette? =)

It's because majority of them get ruined with camber and/or being too low.

see I'm not a fan of negative rear camber, but I don't find the white car to be unappealing either. I dunno it's tastefully modded and that's what matters to me. The top one definitely looks better, it's how I've modded most of my own cars. But there are people on this site who're so high and mighty about suspension when in actuality who cares? It's their car if they like it then more power to them.

I think we are of the same opinion mate. I certainly don't mind seeing the cars that low, to each their own, but I'm not the one calling them idiots for doing it either. Your car, your rules amirite?
